I can't believe it's April (it sure doesn't feel like it, especially when April showers in Boston somehow means snow!?) I wanted to share my March 2018 Ipsy GlamBag! For more on how Ipsy works, check my post from last month here!
What I got (L-R):
• Glossier Balm Dotcom in Rose (7ml, $12 USD on the Glossier site)
• Rodial Glamobrow in Dark Ash Brown (0.09g, $26 USD on the Rodial site)
• SLMISSGLAM SL41 Blusher Brush (price not listed, but Ispy offers 20% cashback on purchases from SLMISSGLAM)
• Hikari Cream Pigment Eyeshadow in Shine (2g, $13 USD on the Hikari website)
• Tarte Sex Kitten Eyeliner (0.1g, $20 USD on Sephora)
Glossier Balm Dotcom in Rose
This lipbalm is super moisturizing, but almost too greasy for me to reach for it everyday. It has a slight pink color which I like, but I'm not a big fan of rose scented items. The product also says you can use it as a cuticle cream, but I wouldn't imagine putting this on my hands.
Rodial Glamobrow in Dark Ash Brown
I have yet to try the brow pencil (I'm loyal to my ABH Brow Wiz), but I have a feeling this shade may be a little too light for me. I could still probably use it under a darker shade, but likely will be giving it away to someone who can use the shade.
SLMISSGLAM SL41 Blusher Brush
This brush is super soft and so pretty! I've just started attempting to wear blush again (I can never find a color that I like or figure out exactly where to put it), so I've been able to use the brush and I'm glad I got it in this month's bag.
Hikari Cream Pigment Eyeshadow in Shine
I love gold eyeshadows (80% of the time I do wear eyeshadow, it's gold), so I was pleasantly surprised by this shade. Cream shadows are nice to layer under a powder shadow to make the color more intense and last longer, and this gold is really flattering on darker skin tones.
Tarte Sex Kitten Eyeliner
I wear winged eyeliner pretty much every single day, but I usually use an ink liquid liner, felt tip kind (from Dollywink, the brand that always has the crying cartoon girl on the Citybus ads in Hong Kong to show how waterproof their products are, classic Sasa purchase), so I was intrigued by this crayon/pencil eyeliner that was specifically for the winged, cat eye look. This one works well and I like it for a bolder look, and will be great for use on the waterline, but not something I'd reach for everyday, just because pencil takes me longer to do in the morning.
This month's bag is super cute and so fun! They even included two markers to decorate the bag.
I can't wait to see what comes in the April bag! Have you tried Ipsy or other beauty subscriptions? What did you get in your bag? Let me know in the comments! Sign up for Ipsy here if you'd like to give it a try!
